Mary Burmeister's Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy

5 Day Basic Seminar

Presented By IAN HARRIS

In State College PA

July, 2018 (exact date TBA)

The 5-Day Basic Seminar is for those who want to study and practice Jin Shin Jyutsu and to apply the Art on themselves and others, being the testimony of this simple, profound Art of Living, made known to us by Mary Burmeister and Jiro Murai.

Each seminar consists of two parts:

Part 1, the foundation, introduces the dynamic qualities of the 26 Safety Energy Locks, the Trinity Flows, the concepts of Depths within the body, and the Physio-Philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu. Interspersed with lecture are ample periods of hands-on application.

Part 2 (prerequisite: Part 1) introduces the 12 organ flows, listening to pulses, the Special Body Flows and how these contribute to harmonizing body, mind and spirit.

Please Note: As part of Our Instructor Training Program, Jin Shin Jyutsu Instructors may periodically have qualified JSJ Instructor Trainee's present short teachings from the 5 Day Class material. The primary instructor will oversee the presentation.

About IAN HARRIS

Ian Harris spent his early years playing and studying music and riding his bicycle for fun and work, and studying Tai Chi, Meditation, eastern philosophy and yoga – in pursuit of a deeper awareness of himself and the universe. In 1982 he was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu to receive sessions and soon thereafter attended his first seminar with Mary Burmeister.
He found in Jin Shin Jyutsu the common thread which tied all these other interests together and helped shed light on the many puzzles of life. For more than 30 years he has been practicing this art and since 2000 has been teaching the Basic 5 day Seminar.
Originally attracted by the simplicity of JSJ and by Mary’s joy and straightforward manner in her teaching, Ian aims to bring these qualities to his seminars. And so in class we can all relax and enjoy the unfolding of this Art.
